Born and raised in Liverpool, now living in Essex.Steve is a guitarist, singer, songwriter. His music covers the spectrum from folk, blues to rock but most importantly his recordings and live shows are all about 'the song', whether doing his own compositions, or covers of other people, the songs are the vehicle.
The first album 'Liverpool Town' (2010) showed the breadth of Steve's writing and playing skills, written, played, sung, arranged, and produced by Steve, the songs range from acoustic ballads such as 'Forever in our Hearts' to outright blistering rock songs like 'Live in the Now' . The guitar playing on the album shows shades of Bill Nelson at his melodic best mixed with Mick Ronson like power & dynamics. The title track 'Liverpool Town' takes you right back to growing up in Liverpool in the early 60's listening to the Beatles and Smokey Robinson on the old Dansette! Writing for the new album is currently underway and recording should start soon and the album hopefully out in the summer of 2017.
